LEAD TEACHING PASTOR
Thank you for your interest in the Lead Teaching Pastor position at Christ Community Church of Houston (C3). We are excited to begin this journey and are prayerfully seeking the leader God has prepared for our congregation.

- Highlight experience in “like-minded” churches.
- Note: Please ensure you have included all requested documents in your submission.
- Initial Review: Our search team reviews all applications for alignment with our Job Description, Church Profile, and C3 Teaching Statement.
- Initial Update: You will receive an email update from us within 10 business days regarding the status of your application.
- Deep Dive: Candidates moving forward will be invited to a brief call and asked to complete a more detailed theological and philosophical questionnaire.
- Formal Interviews: This stage involves 1–2 structured video interviews with the Search Committee and the C3 Elder Board to discuss your ministry experience and philosophy in depth. In addition, the Search Committee may request an opportunity to meet and talk with the candidate’s spouse or family (if applicable).
- Onsite Visit & Field Observation: Any finalist will be invited to Houston for a multi-day visit to meet our staff, elders, and congregants. With the candidate’s permission and with the utmost confidentiality, members of our committee may also visit the candidate’s current ministry context.
