Bible Study

Fall 2022 Bible Study – Seek First the Kingdom: God’s Invitation to Life and Joy in the Book of Matthew (Christine Hoover) + D Groups

In the Book of Matthew, Jesus proclaimed the kingdom of God. This announcement was a proclamation of and an invitation to life. Do you want life? Then you want the King and His kingdom. Through Christine Hoover’s 8-week study of Matthew, we’ll watch and listen as Jesus proclaims the kingdom, telling us that we’re children of God, sustained and provided for; that we rest under the good rule and reign of Jesus; that we belong to the kingdom of God, which will last forever; and that our purpose is to enjoy our King and imitate Him in the world, participating in the cultivation of the kingdom.

Bible study participants may also sign-up when registering to participate in a year-long discipleship microgroup of 3 to 4 women! “D Group” members will focus on helping one another follow Jesus by applying the truths of God’s Word in the context of transparent, accountable relationships. This will not add another curriculum commitment, however; D Groups will use the Bible study curriculum they are already studying and may choose from other recommended resources over the Summer. And, to make meeting as convenient as possible, during semesters of Bible study, D Groups may meet at the church, childcare provided, for an hour before Bible study (Sunday and Wednesday nights) or after Bible study (Wednesday morning). D Group registration is available through the Bible study registration. Register here.

Dinners

C3 Women’s Dinners occur monthly at 6:15 pm in the Gathering Hall.  We enjoy delicious food, sweet table fellowship, and a program designed to help us grow in godliness.  Dinners are a great opportunity to form relationships with other women and to hear and share what God is doing in our lives.

Fall 2022 Women’s Dinners are September 19, October 17, and November 28.
