Middle School Mission Trip:

Blueprint 2020

Registration for Blueprint 2020 is open! Blueprint 2020

Trip Overview

This Summer we’ll be taking all of our middle school students back to Blueprint Ministries in San Antonio, TX. This will be our fourth year to partner with Blueprint and we have been blown away by how God always works in the lives of those we are serving and the hearts of our students.

Students will spend the entire week split up into work teams that will go out to homes in the community. They will do home projects like drywall, roofing, painting, and flooring. Throughout this time working their goal is to get to know the homeowners and minister to them with the love and gospel of Jesus Christ.

At nights kids will come back to base and spend the evening in playing games, hanging out with friends and their leaders. Every night we have a worship and teaching session followed by “family time” with our church where we talk about how we saw God at work during the day.

What we love about Blueprint is the combination of mission and camp. Students get pushed out of their comfort zone to love others as Jesus would and grow together as a community of believers.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can my son/daughter invite friends?

Yes! We would love for students to invite friends.

Can my student come for just a portion of the week?

Unfortunately, we have to say no to this. We put a lot of thought into creating our work teams and want to ensure that they spend the entire week together.

Who will be the leaders during the mission trip?

Many of the leaders for the retreat are our regular youth group volunteers. We do have a few additional leaders who will be serving with us! We have a handful of parents who have served with us for a couple of years. If you are interested in coming as a parent, please reach out to Richmond at Richmond@c3houston.org

All volunteers have been background checked and have done a training on child safety.

Are scholarships available?

Scholarships are available, but limited. Please register and at the time to pay you can request a scholarship.
