The Word of the Lord: Seeing Jesus in the Prophets (Nancy Guthrie)
Many people want to study the Old Testament, but don’t understand how or why it’s relevant to the Christian life. The Word of the Lord: Seeing Jesus in the Prophets helps readers see Jesus, the true and living Word of God, in the Old Testament prophetic books. Together we’ll examine Jonah, Hosea, Micah, Isaiah, Habakkuk, Jeremiah, Daniel, Ezekiel, and Malachi, learning how the prophets, whether chastising or comforting, point forward to Israel’s final redemption and ultimate hope. Join us this spring to gain a fresh perspective on the message of the Old Testament Prophets, a broader understanding of Jesus as the fulfillment of scripture, and much more! “We have found him of whom Moses in the Law and also the prophets wrote, Jesus of Nazareth.” (John 1:45)
