What is your Sunday schedule?
Our worship services begin at 9.30 am (concluding by 10.40 am) and by 11.05 am (concluding by 12.15pm). During the services our children (birth to 5th grade) attend Sunday School classes through our C3 Kids Ministry.
Where do you meet?
We meet at our ministry space at 1303 Sherwood Forest St. in Houston (77043) near the Beltway and I-10 interchange.
Where do I park?
Our ministry space features close-in, safe parking.
What is the music like?
Our goal in worship is to be faithful to biblical truths as well as embody a spirit of passionate love for Jesus. Sunday worship is contemporary and led by a number of different bands and worship leaders. We desire for you to feel free to worship in spirit and in truth. Music is the same style in both services.
What do I wear?
C3 is a fairly casual church. You will see everything from suits to shorts. We believe the Gospel intersects with real life, at street level. Our attitude on Sundays reflects this conviction that worship is a 24/7 calling, not merely a Sunday morning event. At the end of the day, we simply want you to be comfortable as you worship with us.
Is there something for my kids?
Yes, we greatly value children at C3. We offer a Sunday School program during our worship service for children from birth to 5th Grade. Simply check in at the C3 Kids Registration Table and they will guide you to the correct classroom. Trained and screened teachers teach our classes. Children’s Desiring God is our curriculum.
How do I connect into the church?
Our Next Step Coffee, which meet on the 2nd Sundays of the month in the afternoon, are opportunities to meet the Pastors and find out about more details about our church. No registration is required, just show up (in the Gathering Hall), enjoy refreshments & ask any questions you might have.
C3 is a small group church. We call our groups Community Groups and they meet throughout the city on different nights. They meet weekly but do a variety of different activities. Depending upon the week they are either studying together in a home, socializing together, or serving someone in need. Head to the C3 Ministries table on Sunday morning for more details or learn more online under the “Ministries” tab.
What makes C3 distinct?
We pray we are not doing anything unbiblical therefore new, but we do believe our church has some exciting distinctions. We are striving to put together the values of word, community, and mission. At a C3 worship service you will find passionate and biblical worship, and consistent explanation and application of the Bible. Our Community Groups deeply value a togetherness spirituality where people can know each other, love each other, and serve together. We are also committed to serving those in need in our neighborhoods as well as around our city.
Do you guys serve the Houston community?
Yes. Our Community Groups are the primary vehicle by which we serve our local communities and we also join together for church-wide service projects. These church-wide projects are announced online in our Calendar.
