to-every-tribe-header-2014-resized1To Every Tribe has been dedicated to planting churches among the world’s unreached people groups since it was established in 1993 by missionary and church planter David Sitton. Since beginning to work with tribal peoples in Papua New Guinea in 1977, David has been part of 34 church plants around the world. To Every Tribe equips missionaries to faithfully serve and share the gospel in some of the most remote and least evangelized locations. They work tirelessly to reach some of the estimated 7,000 unreached people groups, with the goal of establishing “nationally-led, nationally-supported, and self-reproducing churches that will complete the job of evangelization among their own people and initiate missionary outreach to other unreached peoples beyond their own people group.”

To Every Tribe trains missionaries at the Center for Pioneer Church Planting located in South Texas. Training involves intensive courses on theology, cross cultural issues, as well as missionary health and first aid. “On the field” experience is provided through short term trips to Mexico and Papua New Guinea. Many full time missionary opportunities exist, including ethnographers (people who study and identify remaining unreached people groups), linguists, pilots, support personnel, and of course, church planters.
